Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko spoke about the development of legislation in the field of regulation of physical culture, sports and education.
Changes in industry regulations in these areas are aimed at improving the entire system of mass sports.
As part of this work, in particular, coaches are given the status of a pedagogical worker with appropriate social guarantees: wage growth, an increase in the duration of annual leave and a simplification of the certification procedure.
Another result of the development of legislation has been the provision of more comfortable conditions for athletes to practice and train. Created by the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and the Government Coordinating Center, the digital tracking system for the regions helps to monitor the situation for each sports school or coach-teacher in the country.
About 5 thousand organizations and more than 52.4 thousand facilities are currently operating in the system of Russian youth sports. 3.2 million athletes are involved in sports schools and more than 96,000 coaches and teachers work.
In the Kostroma region, the proportion of citizens systematically involved in physical culture and sports today is almost 60%. Over the past ten years, more than 250 sports facilities have been built and reconstructed in the region, including 15 large sports and recreation complexes. More than 20 multifunctional sports grounds, more than 15 mini-football and football fields with artificial turf, more than 20 small TRP sports grounds have been created.
