Kostroma boxers brought 4 gold medals from the junior boxing tournament

The Regional Committee for Physical Education and Sports reports that Kostroma junior boxers performed successfully at the Nizhny Novgorod Zarechye Cup tournament. The tournament among junior boxers, taking place for the third time, this year brought together 240 young athletes from the Nizhny Novgorod, Kostroma, Vladimir, Ivanovo and Tambov regions.
Our region was represented at the competition by a team of 7 boxers aged 10 to 16 years old – students of the Atlant sports club.
Based on the results of 9 fights, our junior boxers won six and eventually took four “gold” first places and one second “silver”.
Now the Kostroma Atlanteans are preparing for the competition, which will take place on November 6 in Galich.
