Kostornaya went to pair figure skating

The famous Russian figure skater Alena Kostornaya will now compete in pair skating. This was announced by figure skating coach Elena Buyanova. It was because of Kostornaya’s desire to go to Buyanov’s “hotbeds” that she completed work with her.
Alena started working with Buyanova in March last year. The athlete underwent hip surgery, and then performed in a duet with Georgy Kunitsa at one of the ice shows.
Now Kostornaya will train with Sergei Roslyakov.
Alena Kostornaya is 19 years old. She won the “gold” of the European Figure Skating Championships in 2020. She became the winner of the Grand Prix final of the 2019/2020 season. At her first adult international start in 2019, she performed two triple axels in the free program, entering the top ten skaters who successfully perform this element at the international level.
