Olympic champion in ice dancing Roman Kostomarov, who survived amputation of his hands and feet, showed how he drives a car. He published a video filmed by his daughter Anastasia on his Telegram channel.
“Well, here I go. My pants are full of happiness,” Roman shared.
The athlete’s daughter explained that they are still training on the motorcycle track. Anastasia carefully supported her dad while he practiced turning and braking.
“I feel normal, my hand just feels a little unpleasant. At some point you put pressure, and there’s a scar,” he shared his impressions.
Let us remind you that Kostomarov was admitted to intensive care on January 10 due to pneumonia. The athlete’s condition worsened, he developed necrosis, which led to amputations. Kostomarov spent 175 days in the hospital and was discharged in July.
