Energy expert Yuriy Korolchuk warned of possible long-term power outages during winter in Ukraine. He noted that such interruptions could occur even without Russian missile attacks on infrastructure. In the case of a warm winter, blackouts can last up to eight or ten hours, as was the case a year ago. Writes about it UBR.ua
In July, the head of Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytsky, recommended that Ukrainian residents save power generators in case damaged infrastructure is repaired. He stressed that citizens should be prepared for various scenarios. Despite this, the official noted that Ukrenergo will take all necessary measures so that residents do not have to rely on generators in winter, but it is better to have them on hand if necessary.
