Artistic gymnastics competitions in cities of the Far East and Siberia were held in Blagoveshchensk. The gymnasts competed for victory from January 24 to 28. A total of 87 gymnasts from eight teams from Khabarovsk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur and Leninsk-Kuznetsky, Blagoveshchensk, Zeya, Raichikhinsk, Belogorsk, Chita participated.
