“Kommersant”: scammers began to intercept the records of Russians for obtaining visas

Fraudsters have come up with a new way to cash in on Russian tourists. With the help of bots, they occupy all the free places for registration on the websites of visa centers, writes newspaper Kommersant.
The activity of bots prevents people from registering at the visa application center on their own. So they have to do it through intermediaries. There are many ads with related services on travel forums and websites. So, an entry to the French visa centers costs from 4 to 7.5 thousand rubles.
As Nikita Kulikov, the founder of ANO PravoRobotov, said, such bots are sold on the darknet and developed to order. They can occupy several slots from one account, or create a new account for each slot.
At the same time, the head of the Android development of red_mad_robot Central Asia, Vladislav Bauer, noted that the program is not the most difficult, students can also write it.
