The first vice-president of LUKOIL, Alexander Matytsyn, can become the president of the Moscow “Spartak” after the former owner of the football club, Leonid Fedun, left all posts.

According to Kommersant, citing a source familiar with the situation, the appointment may take place in the near future.

It is assumed that Matytsyn will also take the post of chairman of the board of directors of Spartak.

The report says that LUKOIL has not officially confirmed or denied this information.

Perhaps, together with Matytsyn, another high-ranking employee of the oil company will come to the leadership of Spartak. And General Director Yevgeny Melezhikov will retain his post for the time being, as well as the commercial service and the press service. In the future, Melezhikov may be replaced by someone else, there is already a list of candidates.
