Do you know where the special Russian path leads? No, the road to hell paved with good intentions is for our pessimistic fellow citizens.
Optimists always have a choice of one of two paths – to the intended goal or wherever they look. The only problem is that in the absence of clear landmarks or devices for determining the location, these two routes coincide. And those who have wandered in the forest at least once know for sure that no matter where they look, they usually return to the starting point.
And how many people in our country had landmarks over the past few centuries? What about goals? For some reason, I only remember the slogan “Our goal is communism” that looked from almost every fence. Should have come to him in 1980. But along the way, they only knew that they had strayed, and they came back to feudalism with a capitalist face.
Let’s take another example from the not quite distant past. In 1939, the Soviet leadership decided to move the border away from Leningrad. And when the Finnish government did not agree to the exchange of territories, the Kremlin decided to carry out a lightning-fast special operation: to take the Finnish capital in three days and force the stubborn people to sign the treaty needed by the USSR. Warnings that all the leading powers, despite the war in Europe, will support a democratic country, and not only morally, did not lead to anything. Only those who slept sweetly on the last desk all school years did not hear about the benefits of a window cut into Europe. Here are just the discoverer of this hole in the border – the first Russian emperor Peter Alekseevich, together with the Holy Synod 300 years ago, on January 21, 1723 *, returned the situation to the past, tightly closing the window for unwanted trends.
