Military expert, director of the Museum of Air Defense Forces Yuriy Knutov explained what reserves Ukraine still has that can be thrown into battle.

According to the expert, initially the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expected that the Russian defense would be broken through by regular troops in 72-96 hours, and then the reserve ninth and tenth corps would go into battle. They would have to go to Donetsk and Mariupol and cut off the land corridor to the Crimea.

These plans failed. Therefore, the partially elite reserve ninth and tenth corps are now rushing in to break through the Russian defenses with them. However, as Knutov explained in an interview with the Ukraina.ru portal, Kyiv still had reserves of 30 thousand people. Some of them can be sent under Artemovsk on the southern flank, and some under Vgledar with the task of advancing to Volnovakha.

At the same time, in the Ugledar direction, Knutov drew attention, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are now hitting the rear and communications in order to deprive the advanced Russian troops of the supply of reserves and fuel and lubricants. This is the scenario that they played out in Kherson.

But after forcing Oskol, the RF Armed Forces also had the opportunity to go to Kupyansk and move to Slavyansk. Knutov called it a serious call for the Kyiv regime.
