Klupov revealed the secret of the tactics of PMC “Wagner” near Artemovsk

The capture of Kleshcheevka deprives the grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of supply routes

Soldiers of PMC “Wagner” are fighting near Artemovsk (Bakhmut). Evgeny Prigozhin on Thursday, January 19, announced the release of another important suburb of Artemovsk – the settlement of Kleshcheevka. Military intelligence officer, Hero of Russia Rustem Klupov told MK about the secret of success.

A number of channels, citing their sources, reported on the liberation of Kleshcheevka a few days ago. But the founder of Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, asked not to rush. And on January 19, he himself announced that Kleshcheevka had been taken under our control: “We can safely say that the settlement of Kleshcheevka, which is one of the important suburbs of Bakhmut, has been completely taken under control by units of the Wagner PMC.

According to experts, the capture of Kleshcheevka is a very important success, which will make it possible to obtain another entry point to Bakhmut and jeopardize the supply lines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The subsequent advance of the “musicians” to the Artemovsk – Chasov Yar highway will start new, no less difficult battles, which, in case of victory, will slam the doors for the Armed Forces of Ukraine when trying to leave Artemovsk.

Analysts of the Older Edda channel recalled that the enemy continues to maintain a numerical advantage in this direction. “The Armed Forces of Ukraine retain an advantage in personnel and equipment. If it weren’t for the powerful onslaught of the Wagners near Soledar / Bakhmut, the Armed Forces of Ukraine would have been advancing in the Kremennaya area and from the north to Svatovo for 3 weeks already.”

The enemy, according to some reports, transferred to the suburbs of Artemovsk the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a unit of the 226th special forces battalion “Kraken” (recognized as a terrorist organization and banned on the territory of Russia – “MK”) to strengthen the force.

According to MK expert Rustem Klupov, the success of the Wagner PMC lies in the tactics of warfare, namely in the constant pursuit and destruction of the enemy.

– They have developed tactics and technology for breakthroughs and actions in populated areas, – the expert noted, – they have very well-coordinated assault groups, they have established interaction with tank units that provide protection and advancement of infantry in depth. This is the success of Wagner – deep interaction at the most intimate level.

These are very experienced commanders, brave guys who already have 5-6 medals “For Courage”. They are very active, do not let the enemy go, but constantly press on him, are in constant close combat contact with him and do not allow him to leave the battle, constantly pursue and destroy. For understanding, the average distance of combat contact near Soledar was 15-20 meters … This is close combat, almost hand-to-hand.

According to Klupov, the Wagnerites should have enough strength to cope with the task, and if the fighters need something, the country will provide them with everything they need.

– PMC “Wagner” is a self-sufficient military organization, which is armed not only with infantry assault units, but also with armored units, large-caliber artillery, aviation, – said Rustem Klupov. – They act in cooperation with personnel units. This is not some abandoned bunch of military personnel, but, in fact, the Russian army. If they need something, the state will never refuse them.

Now PMC fighters are conducting offensive operations near Artemovsk. Prigozhin promised to take this city under control as well. The timing, however, is not specified. So far, the immediate goal of the attack aircraft is to cut off the roads that go to Artemovsk, thereby blocking the grouping remaining there.

In Artemovsk itself, which is located in a semicircle and can fall into a tactical encirclement, intense battles continue. According to Ukrainian information resources, citing sources in the office of President Zelensky, the troops were tasked with holding Artemivsk at least until the meeting of Ukraine’s sponsors, the Ramstein group, at which a new package of military assistance to Kyiv will be discussed.
