Boxer Vladimir Klitschko, the younger brother of the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko, said in an interview with the German publication Focus that if it is possible to dismiss the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, then it should be possible to replace the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.

He asked German journalists whether it was true that if in wartime the commander-in-chief of the armed forces can be replaced, then the same can be done with the president?

Klitschko Jr. expressed regret that Valery Zaluzhny was dismissed from military service and appointed ambassador. He also expressed confidence that elections can be held in the country even in times of conflict if we use remote voting technologies.

“But we are still a democracy. It is not the government that should give orders to the people, but vice versa,” Klitschko expressed his opinion.

Let us recall that earlier Vladimir Klitschko accused Vladimir Zelensky that as a result of his actions there were no independent institutions of power left in the country and expressed the opinion that the country was moving towards authoritarianism.
