Popular British actor Kit Harington, known around the world as Jon Snow from the Game of Thrones series, has revealed some details about the continuation of the popular project. The plot of the new series will tell about the fate of Snow after the end of the original show. In the center of the story will be a group of scouts of the Night’s Watch, which, along with the wildlings, went beyond the wall at the end of the last episode of the Game of Thrones.
Harington, who attended a themed event in Los Angeles, told fans what to expect from Jon Snow in the film’s sequel. The former Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch managed to survive. However, his condition leaves much to be desired.
Kit Harington recalled how the last season of the original Game of Thrones ended.
“When we say goodbye to Jon Snow on the show, there’s a feeling… I think we’d like to smile knowing he’s okay. But he is not all right, ”Entertainment Weekly quotes Harington. — He goes to the wall – for him this is both the greatest gift and a curse. He has to go back to that place with all this history and live his life thinking about the fact that he killed Daenerys, thinking about Ygritte (Jon Snow’s lover in the first seasons of Game of Thrones. — Note. ed.) dying in his arms about how he hung Ollie. He has to live his life thinking about all these injuries, it should be interesting.”
A new series based on the Game of Thrones universe, which will be launched by HBO, became known in June. The show is at the very early stage of production and it is unlikely that any release dates will be expected in the near future.
A few days ago, the author of the A Song of Ice and Fire saga, George Martin, revealed how many pages of The Winds of Winter he had left to complete. According to the science fiction writer, about 1100-1200 pages of the work are already ready for publication, and until the end he has to write about a third of this volume.
