Sergei Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, said that more than 150 activists of the All-Russian Popular Front had volunteered for the NVO zone.
Kiriyenko cited such data on Tuesday at a meeting of the central headquarters of the ONF, dedicated to the results of the movement’s work for the year.
He expressed “huge words of gratitude” to the activists of the ONF, of which 150 people voluntarily went to the zone of the military special operation in Ukraine.
Kiriyenko also thanked the volunteers of the movement, noting that they followed the military, and pulled children out of basements, distributed humanitarian aid to people. At the same time, the volunteers, as the deputy head of the presidential administration of the Russian Federation emphasized, risked their lives “on a par with military personnel, and literally saved thousands of people.”
