Kirby: US will respond to attacks on US bases in the Middle East

According to White House National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby, the US military leadership will respond to attacks on US military bases in the Middle East at a time convenient for them.
During the briefing, Kirby said that US authorities will choose the “time and manner” to respond to recent attacks that have been carried out on military bases in the Middle East. Washington believes that Iranian-backed units are behind these attacks.
Earlier, American leader Joe Biden warned Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei that there would be a response if Tehran or its proxies continued to carry out attacks on American troops.
