Kirby: the possible loss of Artemovsk of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not give Russia significant advantages

The coordinator of strategic communications at the US National Security Council, John Kirby, did not see the loss of Artemivsk (Ukrainian name Bakhmut) by the Ukrainian side as a factor capable of finally turning the tide of the conflict in favor of Russia.
In his opinion, the surrender of the city will not change the overall course of the conflict.
“The capture of Bakhmut will not change the course of the conflict at all… The Russian forces were able to achieve ‘minor success’, but the city itself continues to hold out,” Blinken reflected.
