King Charles III wants to invite Harry and Meghan to the coronation

The infamous Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle seem to be invited to the coronation of King Charles III. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will reportedly get a seat at the British monarch’s coronation if they choose to attend the ceremony, despite the ongoing negative impact of their Netflix documentary.

Harry and Meghan will reportedly be invited to Charles III’s coronation ceremony on May 6, 2023, and all members of the royal family are expected to be included on a yet-to-be-completed guest list.

A source told The Daily Telegraph: “All family members will be welcome.” However, it is known that the Sussexes, who have spat with the ruling surname in Great Britain, have not yet received an invitation.

Buckingham Palace declined to comment, but a source said of the king: “He loves both of his sons.”

Both Buckingham and Kensington Palace remain silent over a number of accusations made in the six-part Netflix documentary series, including Prince Harry’s claim that he was scared after the Prince of Wales yelled at him during the Sandringham summit in January 2020.

Prince Harry also claimed that Kensington Palace “lied to protect my brother” when it issued a statement denying the story of William bullying him.

It is said that King Charles III is offended by criticism from Harry and Meghan’s family, but does not leave hope for reconciliation with his youngest son and does not want to deprive a couple of titles, according to the Daily Express.

Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla will be crowned in a ceremony at Westminster Abbey that the palace promises will be “based on long tradition and pomp” but also “reflect the monarch’s role today and look to the future.”

The coronation day also coincides with the fourth birthday of Harry and Meghan’s son, Archie, which raises the question of whether the Sussex couple will be able to attend the ceremony.

PR and crisis consultant Mark Borkowski said the Sussexes are in a “visceral emotional war” with the royal family, but the Netflix platform will be the only winner. The expert said the content of the documentary was aimed at an audience in the US, not a British audience.

“This is not a message for the UK, they have clearly given up on it, this is purely a message for an America that understands this way of life,” said Mark Borkowski.

Ahead of the second batch of episodes, it was revealed that Harry & Meghan 1 had 81.55 million hours watched worldwide upon its debut, a Netflix record.
