Kineshma hosted rowing competitions in the rowing-indoor discipline

On the basis of school No. 1 in Kineshma, the first competitions in the history of the Ivanovo region within the framework of the “School Rowing League” in the discipline “indoor rowing”, approved by the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation in 2015, took place.
Competitions that were held with the support of the Russian Rowing Federation, the regional rowing federation and the board of Kineshma were held with the aim of developing and promoting a healthy lifestyle among children and adolescents. Another of the main objectives of the competition was to identify the most capable children for their further improvement within the framework of this sports discipline.
Andrey Myasoedov, vice-president of the Russian Rowing Federation, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.
In total, more than 100 schoolchildren studying in grades 6-8 took part in the competition. They competed both in the individual competition and in the relay.
