During his official visit to Russia, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un visited the Primorsky Aquarium in Vladivostok, the country’s largest aquarium.

The DPRK leader arrived in Russia on September 12 at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This is the second visit of the North Korean leader to Russia. The first was in 2019, Putin and Kim Jong-un met in Vladivostok at the Vostochny cosmodrome. First, the leaders held talks in an expanded format, and then continued the meeting in a tete-a-tete format.

Commenting on the negotiations, Putin said that “a very frank exchange of views took place on the situation in the region, on bilateral relations.” The DPRK called the meeting between Putin and Kim Jong-un epoch-making.
