Kim Jong-un inspected a number of defense enterprises of the DPRK
The leader of the DPRK, Kim Jong-un, for three days – from August 3 to 5 – inspected the country’s defense enterprises, which, among other things, produce ammunition for multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
The Korean Central News Agency reports that the North Korean leader, during a trip to a plant that produces extra-large caliber projectiles, personally got acquainted in detail with the modernization of technologies and assembly lines of the plant.
Kim Jong-un also visited an enterprise where engines for cruise missiles and UAVs are assembled – he called for “improving technical characteristics and increasing output.” And in the production of small arms, he called the modernization of this type of weapons the most important task.
