“Kim Jong-un has revived the agenda” – Kommersant FM

Alexander Lukashenko suggested thinking about developing integration of Russia, Belarus and North Korea. The Belarusian leader announced this in Sochi before the start of negotiations with Vladimir Putin. The Russian President, for his part, responded to the passage of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken regarding the fact that “it takes two to dance tango.” By this, the head of the State Department wanted to say that Moscow does not want to negotiate a Ukrainian settlement. According to Kommersant FM political commentator Dmitry Drize, the Kremlin is making it clear that it is not alone in its confrontation with the West.
Another mini-press conference was held in Sochi with the participation of the Presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko. It was also dedicated to the stay of North Korean Chairman Kim Jong-un in Russia. The head of Belarus first suggested thinking about cooperation between the three of them – between Minsk, Moscow and Pyongyang.

It was nice to see you and Kim Jong-un at the Vostochny Cosmodrome. We can also think about cooperation between three of us. North Korea, Russia – I know that the Koreans have great interest in you.
Alexander Grigorievich promised to tell his colleague about his recent visit to Equatorial Guinea and personal contacts with a very famous and advanced person. Most likely, this refers to 81-year-old Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, who has ruled this country for 44 years.
Vladimir Putin, for his part, noted that cooperation between the Russian Federation and the DPRK does not violate anything. The fabrications of the Western press that some North Korean volunteers will appear on the fronts are complete nonsense. As for America’s recent passages about negotiations, such as the fact that two people dance tango and Moscow doesn’t want to talk to anyone about anything, the general meaning is this: first learn to dance, and then reason.

As for the Americans, they themselves do not know how to dance tango. This, of course, is amazing music, beautiful movements, but the United States is trying to solve everything from a position of strength. I think that it is important for Ukraine not to forget the hopak. This is important, otherwise they will always dance to someone else’s music and someone else’s tune. And by the way, one way or another, everyone will have to dance as a lady or, at best, a Cossack woman.”
We can probably talk about some plans to create a new association – Russia-Belarus-North Korea-Africa. There is, however, a problem: North Korea is under international sanctions from the UN Security Council, and Russia is also involved in this. Such a circumstance can, let’s say, complicate successful cooperation. This, in fact, has been discussed all these days.
As for the Dark Continent, contacts with it are, of course, being established, but creating something so tangible requires time and money. This is not easy right now. And it is also desirable that the West does not plot, but it continues to do so. But the alliance between Russia and Belarus is strong, we are not alone in this world, and we are quite capable of resisting supposedly democratic forces.
All this happened before, but now, as we see, Comrade Kim Jong-un has also revived the agenda. It is imperceptible that the West is somehow seriously depressed about this. Maybe even the other way around. They also figure something out there, and not just for three, but clearly for a larger number of participants. But we understand: they won’t succeed – they don’t even know how to dance tango, let alone decide the fate of the world.
