Kickboxers from Buryatia won about 20 medals of the Far Eastern Federal District championship

The day before in Blagoveshchensk, the Championship and Championship of the Far Eastern Federal District in kickboxing in the disciplines “light contact” and “point fighting” ended. Athletes from Buryatia managed to win 10 gold, two silver and seven bronze medals.
In total, about 400 athletes from nine regions took part in the tournament, including Kamchatka, Primorsky, Khabarovsk Territories, Sakhalin and Amur Regions, the Jewish Autonomous Okrug, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Zabkrai and Buryatia.
Based on the results of the competition, the Far Eastern Federal District team was formed to participate in the Russian Kickboxing Championship and Championship in the “light contact” and “point fighting” sections. The competitions will be held in May 2023 in Kemerovo and in November in Perm.
