Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said that in 2023, 1,829 Mariupol facilities will be connected to heating under a full-fledged scheme. Over the past year, according to him, 1,100 objects were provided with heat.
“I can say good news. This year, we are fully committed to connecting 1,829 objects to heat according to a full-fledged scheme. We were able to connect 1,100 last year already, but since we started everything late, this year all houses in 1,829 will be connected to heat,” Mr. Khusnullin said at a video conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin dedicated to the launch of tram traffic in Mariupol .
As Marat Khusnullin pointed out, among the facilities preparing to connect heating are 1,634 apartment buildings and 193 preschool educational institutions, hospitals and schools. In particular, by the end of May, the school of arts was restored in Mariupol, the vice-premier pointed out.
Three-year plan for the restoration of Mariupol Ministry of Construction developed in August 2022. The city plans to build apartment buildings, social facilities and transport infrastructure, as well as equip embankments and parks. In November, Marat Khusnullin said that the plan to restore the city could be completed in two years. As of November last year, Russian builders managed to restore 150 houses.
