Khusnullin confirmed the possibility of restoring Artemovsk

The city of Artyomovsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut), in which hostilities continue, is damaged, but it can be restored, declared Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin.

“On behalf of the president, he visited new regions, examined facilities, held meetings on regional programs for socio-economic development. Also visited Artemovsk. The city is damaged, but it can be restored. We have such experience,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

As an example of an object that can be restored, he cited the House of Culture next to the city administration. Restoration work will begin, Khusnullin said, as soon as “the operational situation permits.”

April 27, Acting Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin declared about the taking by Russian forces under control of the last section of the road, along which the supply of the Ukrainian army in Artemovsk was carried out. According to him, now Russian forces continue to knock out the enemy from positions in the city. The Ukrainian military is still in a one-by-one-and-a-half-kilometer high-rise building block in the western part of Artyomovsk.

On April 21, the founder of Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were in an operational environment, but it was too early to talk about the formation of a cauldron for the enemy in Artemovsk. Pushilin noted that the situation in the city remains tense, Russian forces are advancing, but now “it is still premature to speak as a fait accompli about the boiler.”

In early April, Karen Hovhannisyan, General Director of the Single Customer in the Construction Industry, announced that in the new territories underway work to restore or build from scratch more than 2,700 new facilities.
