Blogger Khovansky announced his desire to renounce Russian citizenship
Famous video blogger Yuri Khovansky, who moved to Serbia, announced his intention to renounce Russian citizenship. He disclosed this information in an interview for the YouTube channel “Entry”.
Khovansky shared that he has no plans to return to Russia and expressed his satisfaction with life in Serbia, calling it “high” and “fun.”
According to the blogger, he also has Mexican citizenship, but due to the lack of a Mexican passport, he can only live on a Serbian passport. He explained that although he could formally renounce Russian citizenship, this would lead to his deportation to Mexico.
Previously, Khovansky invited his parents to move to Serbia, but they abandoned this idea. The blogger also noted that his friends living in Russia do not plan to emigrate to the Balkans with him.
Together with his wife Ksenia, Khovansky moved to Serbia in September 2022. The blogger explained this decision by saying that he did not want to wait for conscription at the military registration and enlistment office and therefore decided to emigrate.
