KHL chief referee Alexey Anisimov responded to the removal of SKA goalkeeper Nikita Serebryakov and the subsequent criticism of the referees by the chairman of the board of directors of the army team, Alexander Medvedev, in the “Referees” program on KHL TV. The arbitrator stated that “everyone has to do their own thing.”

Serebryakov was sent off for tripping for two minutes at the SKA match against Avtomobilist. The team from Yekaterinburg managed to realize this and score the puck. This drew criticism from Medvedev.

SKA was eliminated from the Gagarin Cup, losing the decisive match to Avtomobilist on March 25 in a series of quarter-final KHL playoff matches with a score of 1:4. The army team did not qualify for the semi-finals for the first time in 10 years.

Earlier, “MK in St. Petersburg” talked about double reaction Olympic champion Vyacheslav Fetisov on accusations of SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg of bias of judges.
