State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein said that Roskomnadzor fully supports the bill he sent to the government, introducing administrative responsibility for LGBT propaganda among Russians of any age.
Khinshtein published a letter in which the department provides a “clear illustration” of the need for the relevant bill – the book “Summer in a Pioneer Tie” and its forthcoming sequel “What the Swallow is Silent About.”
Both books are restricted to “18+”, but, according to Roskomnadzor, the first of them is aimed at an audience of 14-18 years old and describes “homosexual relationships with an accentuated exploitation of the theme of first falling in love.”
