By the time Dolgov came out, Khimki could not break the resistance of Torpedo, which is nominally the hosts. The Moscow Region team did not succeed in attacking, and the car factory team, in addition to the penalty kick, “ruined” a couple of great moments. Neither Lebedenko, nor Smolnikov, nor Ryazantsev were able to open the gates of Khimki keeper Lantratov.

But his counterpart Botnari worked hard in the second half – it’s no joke, three times to get a leather sphere from his own grid. Substitute Dolgov took only eight minutes to remove questions about the winner of the match. First, the striker took advantage of Lomovitsky’s pass, broke into the penalty area and shot deadly into the near top corner. During the break, I boiled a little, we can’t allow such a situation that in the minds of the players we have already won. If Torpedo had scored the second goal, it would have been more difficult, because somewhere we missed the threads of the game. After the break, we added, the substitutions worked, we could still score, but in the end we played on the score, we had to give up the initiative and calmly play the end. Today there were severe weather conditions, in any case, well done guys. The moment that happened in the first half should not be repeated, it is fraught, ”Sergey Yuran answered the question of our publication correspondent about timely substitutions in the match in sufficient detail.

“You can play well in individual episodes, you can play meaningful football and have chances, but if there is no result, then there is a general dissatisfaction from the game. There were good approaches, but they need to be brought to the end. This situation is related to psychology and skill. We will disassemble the game, do the analysis. They made a mistake in the defense, but the defense consists of all the players – you need to watch the whole chain. It was planned that the substitutions would strengthen the team in the second half, but the idea did not work. Our “veterans” had a good half of the match, then got a little tired, and we wanted to freshen up the game, give the youngsters a chance,” Alexander Borodyuk commented on the defeat, answering my question about the ten-minute activity of the car factory at the beginning of the second half.
