"Khimki" continue to fly into the abyss

Football definitely punishes those who play it amateurishly. The shameful and in no way explainable dismissal of coach Sergei Yuran comes back to haunt Khimki for several games in a row.

Cup of Russia. Group A. Moscow region. Khimki 0:5 Lokomotiv. Goals: Pedrinho – four, Isidore – one.

It is possible that such a major victory delayed the dismissal of the German staff from the Moscow club, although this is hard to believe. Well, Lokomotiv, with its current coach, has neither a game nor a result. The Pyrrhic victory in the Moscow region is an exception to the rule.

“The derby of the most paradoxical clubs in the league,” as one colleague from the most popular sports newspaper in the country voiced it, could “close” the issue for both coaches. The helmsman of the Moscow club seems to have prolonged the agony, otherwise Loko’s performance is difficult to name, but his counterpart from Khimki apparently still has time to correct the situation.

Mitryushkin’s debut at the Khimki goal turned out to be a nightmare for him. Already in the first minute of the match, the future hero of the meeting, Pedrinho, checked the newcomer with a long-range shot. Josef Zinnbauer released as close as possible to the main team, even Miranchuk found a place on the field.

It was his brother who was destined to initiate the defeat of Khimki. Miranchuk with a long pass sent partner Pedrinho to a rendezvous with Mitryushkin, who opened the scoring with his Russian goals. The Brazilian’s second goal was purely individual: he moved to the center, gathered three defenders around him and beautifully launched a leather sphere past them into the far corner.

The head of the Moscow region team Spartak Gogniev, after 0:2, removed Kamlashev, Danilkin from the field, and during the break, Sadygov was also replaced by Rudenko in the attack. Only this did not help the current Khimki – the team is unbalanced, and it takes the will and persuasion of Yuran to “return” it to the game.

The third goal was again created by the Pedrinho-Miranchuk tandem. The Russian midfielder gave, the Brazilian effectively spun the ball into the far top corner. The goalkeeper of the hosts had no chance. The Brazilian, who completed poker and after his replacement took the game ball as a memento, simply mocked the opponent’s defense. Mitryushkin, who saved his “sleepy” and inactive colleagues a couple of times, is just a pity. He alone “plowed” for the whole team.

The cup becomes a lifesaver for Lokomotiv. Isidore, who set the final score in the match, is now likely to continue to score in the championship. Is it just that the German headquarters of the Moscow club have “methods” to perform just as beautifully and effectively in the RPL?

The question is rhetorical, and the answer is next weekend: Viktor Gancharenko’s “Ural” is coming to Cherkizovo.
