Khimik players from Dzerzhinsk continue preparing for the start of the spring part of the 2023-2024 season. The team from Dzerzhinsk performed well in the summer-autumn part of the 2023-2024 season, becoming the best in group No. 2 of the Second League “B”. The black-and-greens played 17 official matches and suffered only one defeat, turning out to be weaker than the reserve team of FC Zenit. In the remaining matches, “Khimik” steadily gained points and, 2 rounds before the finish, secured gold medals and promotion to the “Silver” division.
The only representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod region in the Second League are training in Adler for the third training camp. It will be the final one in preparation for the start of the spring part of the 2023-2024 season. In the remaining time before the start of the season, Khimik players will play four control matches against opponents of different levels. The black-and-greens will test their strength twice against the representatives of the First League, playing against Neftekhimik and Saratov Sokol. In two more matches, Khimik will compete for victory with the youth team of FC Sochi and Torpedo Miass.
Let us remind you that “Khimik” starts in the “Silver” division of the Second League “A” on March 2. The black-greens will host Spartak from Kostroma at their home arena.
