“Khimik” will host rivals from Ivanovo at home

Khimik players from Dzerzhinsk continue to play in the Silver Division of the Second League “A” for the 2024 season. The team from Dzerzhinsk will debut at the Silver division level during the 2024 season. Back in the fall, “Khimik” was listed among the participants in the Second League “B”, but was able to become a triumphant in group No. 2. The black-and-greens played 17 matches and suffered only one defeat, which did not prevent Khimik from securing the championship and promotion to Serebro two rounds before the finish. Based on the results of three rounds in Serebre, the Khimik players were able to score 6 points and are now in 2nd place.

In the upcoming championship match, Khimik players will face rivals from Ivanovo. “Textilshchik”, which has already started its second season of “Silver”, will come to Dzerzhinsk. The Red-Blacks started the championship well and are now in 3rd place, but they suffered a shock. Before the match against Khimik, Igor Kolyvanov, who led the red-blacks for almost two years, left the post of head coach of Tekstilshchik.
