“Khimik” secured 2nd position in “Silver”

Khimik players from Dzerzhinsk continue to play in the Silver Division of the Second League “A” for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Dzerzhinsk played in the Second League “B” in the fall and became the best in group No. 2, showing an excellent result. The black-and-greens played 17 matches and suffered only one defeat, losing in an away match to St. Petersburg’s Zenit-2, which did not prevent them from securing the title of champion and promotion to the Second League “A” 2 rounds before the finish. In the three starting matches, Khimik performed well.

The team from Dzerzhinsk has currently played 3 matches in the Silver division and won 2 victories, which allows them to take a place among the strongest teams. In the first round, Khimik lost to Spartak from Kostroma at home, and then beat their opponents twice in a row.
