“Khimik” from Dzerzhinsk began training camps

The Khimik players from Dzerzhinsk successfully spent the first part of the 2023-2024 season. The team from Dzerzhinsk played in the Second League “B” and was able to please its fans. The black-and-greens became triumphant in Group No. 2 in the Second League “B” and, along with the championship title, won the right to promotion to the next class. In 18 matches, “Khimik” suffered only 1 defeat and, 2 rounds before the finish, secured 1st place and promotion to the “Silver” division of the Second League “A”.
On January 16, the only representative of the Nizhny Novgorod region in the Second League began preparations for the start of the spring part of the season. In just 1.5 months of preparation, Khimik will conduct 3 training cycles. The first of the training camps started on January 16 and will last only 4 days. The Black and Greens are restoring their physical fitness in the Nizhny Novgorod region, stopping at the Izumrudnoe sports base. On the first day of the training camp, “Khimik” trained twice a day, and the evening session was held in difficult weather conditions due to the onset of snowfall.
The second training camp will begin on January 22, it will be held in Krymsk and will last until February 4.
