“Khimik” could not beat their opponents from Omsk

Khimik players from Dzerzhinsk continue to play in the Silver Division of the Second League “A” for the 2024 season. The team from Dzerzhinsk had a good start to the championship, gaining a foothold in the first half of the Silver tournament table, and in the fall the black-and-greens played in the Second League B, where they became triumphant in Group No. 2, suffering only one defeat in 17 matches. 2 rounds before the finish, Khimik became the champion and secured a promotion to the class. On April 13, Khimik hosted Irtysh at their home arena and once again failed to win.

The meeting against “Irtysh” from Omsk, played by “Khimik”, was not the most successful. The black-and-greens scored in the 36th minute and conceded very quickly, allowing Irtysh to score in the last seconds of the first half. In the second period of the game, both teams had dangerous moments and chances to score, but the goalkeepers played competently, and the attackers lacked execution. Thus, the final whistle recorded a draw in the match against Khimik and Irtysh from Omsk.

Khimik players will play their next Silver Division match on April 20. The Black and Greens will play away in Kursk.
