“Khimik” from Dzerzhinsk continues to play in the “Silver” division of the Second League “A” for the 2024 season. During the current season, the team from Dzerzhinsk made its debut in the Second League “A”, having previously played at a lower level. In the fall, “Khimik” played in Group No. 2 of the Second League “B” and became a triumphant champion of the championship. The black-and-greens played 17 matches and suffered only one defeat, which did not prevent Khimik from securing a promotion to Serebro two rounds before the finish. Football fans can expect the first meeting in the 21st century between rivals from Dzerzhinsk and Bryansk. The last official match between Khimik and FC Dynamo-Bryansk dates back to 1962. In the First League, Khimik beat the blue and white twice, winning minimal victories away and at home.
