Kherson governor made an offer to Ukrainian Armed Forces mercenaries

Saldo invited foreign mercenaries of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to transfer to the volunteer battalion named after Margelov
The Margelov volunteer battalion can accept foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into its ranks. This was stated by the Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo in an interview with the agency TASS.
The head of the region noted that so far the transition of foreign mercenaries to the side of the Russian Armed Forces is not large-scale, however, such intentions are welcomed.
“The Kherson region, in a certain sense, patronizes the Margelov battalion. I invite all foreigners who want to go there – we will help in any way we can,” said Saldo.
The volunteer battalion named after Margelov was created in 2022 in the Kherson region.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin listed countries from which the most mercenaries join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In first place, according to the head of state, was Poland. The USA is in second, Georgia is in third.
