The authorities of the Kherson region called on residents to leave the Kakhovka region due to the high level of military threat. Forced evacuation will be carried out from 6 November.
“A high level of military threat is expected. Evacuation is carried out in an organized manner by road transport. Head to the evacuation points. Take documents, money, valuables and warm clothes. From November 6, forced evacuation measures will be applied to the remaining ones, ”the administration of the Kakhovka district said in a Telegram message.
According to the Acting Governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, all evacuees will be covered by the assistance program from the Russian government: payment of 100 thousand rubles, as well as the provision of a housing certificate.
On October 31, the authorities of the Kherson region announced the evacuation of all residents from a 15-kilometer zone along the Dnieper. The evacuation concerned residents of the Novokakhovsk urban district, Golopristansky, Aleshkinsky, Kakhovsky, Gornostaevsky, Velikolepetikhsky and Verkhnerogachiksky municipal districts. The regional authorities want to complete evacuation of residents from the left bank of the Dnieper within three days.
