Kharkov is being prepared for defense: members of the Wehrmacht Service are moving into private houses en masse

The Russian army continues to fire at military targets in Kharkov and surrounding areas, simultaneously destroying energy infrastructure. According to military experts, this may be a sign of our full-scale offensive, which will begin in this direction. Ukrainian channels, meanwhile, suggest that the city will be surrounded, including from Sumy.

According to military expert, retired special forces officer Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk, the liberation of Kharkov will be the final stage of all operations that we carried out in the Kupyansk direction.

The Russian army seems to be closely involved in the Kharkov and Sumy regions. So far we are only striking, knocking out the entire energy infrastructure. Geraniums, Iskanders, and Daggers fly here densely and almost daily. All these actions of our army seriously complicate not only the work of the energy system of Ukraine, but also disrupt the transport supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and nullify military production.

Military blogger Yuriy Podolyaka believes that massive attacks in this direction are an important sign that makes the enemy seriously nervous: “We are working on energy facilities, and have largely disconnected the Kharkov region from the Ukrainian energy system. And this is a very important symptom. Powerful strikes are taking place in places where personnel are concentrated along the border from Velikaya Pisarevka to Volchansk. Well, and strikes in depth: today our “Geraniums,” for example, worked to the entire depth of the Sumy and Kharkov regions.”

Ukrainian Telegram channels report that there are persistent rumors in Ukraine that we will soon launch an offensive operation, and specifically surround the city. Moreover, we will supposedly enter from the direction of Sumy, on which we are also delivering massive attacks.

A similar situation, Ukrainian observers write, happened about a year ago. Then, Ukrainian intelligence warned about the high risk of launching our large-scale offensive with plans to encircle Kharkov. At the same time, a year ago it was also expected that we would take Kharkov into the ring.

A year ago, the enemy began to very actively import huge amounts of ammunition into Kharkov, placing them in various warehouses in the industrial zone and even in the basements of city institutions.

Today the enemy seems to be trying to get rid of the civilian population as quickly as possible, among whom there are many who are waiting for the arrival of our army. “It is important for the Kyiv regime that in territories where there is a loyal attitude towards Russia, and this includes the Kharkov region, the local population does not give up their position,” Podolyaka notes.

Ukrainian media report that in the south of the Kharkov region the number of Ukrainian groups has sharply increased over the past week. For example, in Izyum and Borovaya, entire streets are populated by the military. Personnel are being transferred from Kharkov, Balakleya and Lozovaya.

Local residents report that owners of private houses who temporarily lived with their relatives are trying to return, because they are afraid of being left without property, which they give to the military. Thus, in Izium, eight thousand members of the Security Service have been resettled in private houses and another six thousand military personnel are awaiting the arrival.

Western analysts, meanwhile, continue to exaggerate the already bleak prospects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Economist notes that Ukraine needs to carry out large-scale mobilization, continue to quickly build fortifications, and also receive a lot of shells from partners. Otherwise, the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces may be broken through in the coming months.

Military expert Anatoly Matviychuk, in a conversation with MK, said that the complex tasks that our troops are now solving, of course, predetermine offensive and auxiliary actions.

– The information that our troops are moving towards Sumy and Kharkov indicates that the liberation process of Kharkov has reached its culmination. And I think that the battle for Kharkov is the complete completion of the operations that we carried out in the Kupyansk direction. Kharkov, as an original Russian city, should return to Russian territory, the expert said.
