Khakass athlete became second at the Russian cross-country championship

The All-Russian track and field cross-country competition among people with intellectual disabilities was held from October 29 to October 1 in Tambov. Athletes from 12 regions of the Russian Federation gathered for the tournament.
Among them was the representative of Khakassia, Sergei Demchuk, who showed a time of 20 minutes 17 seconds at a distance of 6 km, winning the silver medal of the championship. First place was taken by track and field athlete from Rostov-on-Don Vitaly Petrenko.
Demchuk trains under the guidance of Vladimir Volkov and is a student at the Olympic reserve school in Abakan.
Previously in Khakassia took place motor rally in honor of the birthday of the President of Russia.
