The drama seems over. He started at the end of June when the 2014 MVP, twice titled with Golden State, had asked to leave the Nets after three seasons together (James Harden had left the team during the season, heading to Philadelphia). Aged 33, and with another four years of contract, Durant had very badly swallowed the elimination in the first round of the play-offs against Boston (0-4).
On August 8, several media had announced a possible blackmail of the star who was ready to stay in New York, on condition that Steve Nash and Sean Marks go.
