In Crimea, the operation of the Kerch ferry crossing was again suspended due to bad weather, the Ministry of Transport of the Republic reported.
“Due to the deterioration of weather conditions, the work of the Kerch ferry crossing has been temporarily suspended,”— clarified in the ministry.
It should be noted that an hour earlier, the department announced the resumption of the operation of the crossing after it was stopped due to strong winds, the speed of which, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, reached 24 meters per second.
According to experts, over the past day, passenger-car and rail ferries made 12 flights in both directions, transported 554 passengers, 56 rail cars, 389 vehicles.
At the end of last week, two large landing ships (BDK) began to transport trucks at the Kerch ferry crossing.
