Kendo fencers from Primorye won medals at the Russian Championship

According to the Ministry of Sports of the Primorsky Territory, young Primorsky fencers took part in the Championship and the Russian Championship in kendo – fencing on bamboo samurai swords. The performance in Podolsk, where the competitions were held, was successful, the Far East won medals, including the highest standard.
In the category of 11-14 years old Sergey Dyakonov won the gold, Victoria Mugir won the bronze. Yaroslav Sapronov became the best in the category of 15-17 years old among young men. The fourth medal is silver in the team championship among boys and girls, the fifth is bronze in the team tournament among men.
The All-Russian Open Tournament among children and adults was also held there as part of the competition. Egor Miroshnichenko won the first place among men, Yaroslav Sapronov won silver among boys and girls aged 15-17, Victoria Mugir won first place among boys and girls aged 11-14, and Sergey Dyakonov took second. Kids from Primorye – Timofey Usenko and Egor Stefanov, won the second and third places in the category of 8-10 years old.
