Kazan university student wins first IFUS gold

The first set of awards was raffled off at the International University Sports Festival (IFUS). Nikita Shleikher, representing the Volga State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism (Kazan), became the champion in diving on the springboard 1 meter.
Nikita Shleikher scored 392.50 points. This was reported in the press service of the MFUS.

Maria Bruenok, a student of the St. Petersburg State Institute of Technology, won the second MFUS gold. In diving from a springboard, she scored 318.20 points. Anisley Garcia Navarro (Cuba) won the second place, Ekaterina Belyaeva (Russia) took the third place.
MK-Ural previously reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed the participants of the International University Sports Festival (IFUS)which started in Yekaterinburg.
Vladimir Putin noted that the organizers of the IFUS did a lot to make the festival happen. In the capital of the Urals, a festival village, sports facilities were built, and a cultural program was prepared.
