[ad_1]
In Kazakhstan, the ministers of defense and industry discussed issues of diversifying the procurement of weapons and military equipment. As the press service of the defense department reported, it was stated that it was necessary to search for new supply markets taking into account the military-economic security of the state. This will be done taking into account the current geopolitical situation, sanctions restrictions and in connection with the disruption of logistics connections.
Earlier, the country’s defense department stated that Western sanctions against the Russian Federation could affect the further use of Russian and Soviet-made military equipment in the republic.
It is known that over the past decade, Kazakhstan has not purchased foreign-made armored vehicles.
