Kazakhstan has resumed the mask regime in medical institutions amid COVID-19
The Kazakh authorities again introduced a mask regime in medical institutions and gave a recommendation to observe it in places where there are large gatherings of citizens. The corresponding resolution was signed by the chief state sanitary doctor Aizhan Esmagambetova.
“Recommend the use of medical or fabric masks in crowded places (airports, train stations, markets, shopping centers, theaters, cinemas, public service centers, banks, etc.) in all types of transport,” it says document.
Previously, the lower house of the Parliament of the Republic introduced a mandatory mask regime on February 7 against the backdrop of coronavirus infection. Chairman of the Majilis Erlan Koshanov and presidential adviser Kanat Bozumbayev managed to become infected with COVID-19.
