The amendments made to the State Duma, which change the norms for serving subpoenas, will not affect the spring draft for military service that has already begun. About it informed Andrey Kartapolov, Chairman of the Duma Defense Committee, in a commentary to Interfax.

Today, April 11, the State Duma will consider in the second and third readings amendments to the law “On military duty and military service”, which involve the digitalization of the military registration system. According to Kartapolov, the project is amending the norms for serving summonses – in addition to receiving them in paper form and through the employer, it will be possible to deliver them by registered mail, at the MFC and electronically in the personal account at the State Services.
As Karatpolov clarified, the electronic summons is considered received from the moment it is posted in the personal account on the “State Services” of a person liable for military service. Updated rules for obtaining subpoenas to appear in military registration and enlistment offices touch not only conscripts, but all those liable for military service, he stressed.
On March 31, a video of a briefing by the head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the Russian General Staff, Rear Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky, appeared on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense. In it, he stated that the agendas within the framework of the spring conscription, which began on April 1, will be sent out electronically through the State Services. On the same day, the account deletion function was disabled on the portal. On April 11, the option to delete an account reappeared.
