Karelian karatekas won three gold medals

The All-Russian competition “Peter the Great Cup” ended in St. Petersburg on May 1. Pupils of coaches Felix Maltsev and Evgeny Borisenko won several awards at once, informs “Sport is the norm of life in Karelia”. Gold medals were won by Dmitry Klementiev, Tais Rodion (kato solo discipline) and Vlad Malinovsky (full contact discipline). Artem Enin, Vlad Malinovsky, Anastasia Poloselova, Lyudmila Martynovich won silver in the cato solo discipline, Kirill Tverdostupov and Anastasia Poloselova in the full contact discipline, Danila Borisov in the OK discipline.
The next karate competition for athletes is expected on May 11 in Orel. The Russian Championship and the Russian Cup will be held here.
