Karelia Olympians will receive 150 thousand rubles for the New Year

On the eve of the New Year, the head of the republic, Artur Parfenchikov, signed a decree on scholarships for Karelian athletes – candidates for the Russian Federation national teams in Olympic sports. In total, eight scholarships were established under this decree. They will be received by those candidates for the Olympic teams who took prizes in the Russian, European and world championships in 2022.
The amount of each scholarship is 150 thousand rubles. They are expected to be paid by December 31st.
Previously reported, that at the “Russia” exhibition in Moscow, ambassadors received 300 thousand rubles. Then the head of Karelia on December 21 widely publicized his participation in the exhibition, and also mentioned on his page that “here is a meeting between Russian ballerina Ilze Liepa and Olympic champion Vlad Larin, our ambassadors at the exhibition.
