Karatekas from Petrozavodsk won medals at all-Russian competitions

As the administration of Petrozavodsk reported, young athletes from the Karelian capital performed well at the 10th Federation Cup in karate.
All-Russian competitions took place in Odintsovo, Moscow region. The best karatekas from 48 regions of the country took part in the competition, among whom were students of the Olympic reserve sports school No. 5 of Petrozavodsk.
According to the results of the competition, Diana Radchenko won silver in the “NW Kata Solo” category and bronze in the “NW Kata Couple” category. Victoria Vovk was also awarded a silver medal in the “NW Kata Solo” category and a bronze medal in the “NW Kata Couple” category. Grigory Romanenko became the best among juniors 18-20 years old in the OK kata rengokai category. In addition, he won second place in the OK Kata Rengokai in the men’s over 18 group.
Karelian karatekas and their coach Maxim Stolbovoy were congratulated on their high achievement and wished them future victories.
