The strongest karatekas of Tatarstan will perform as part of the seventh sports and music award “Manzara”. The organizers revealed the details of the show at a press conference.
Previously, in addition to Koresh wrestlers, sumo wrestlers took part in the Manzara Prize. Karate is included in the event for the first time.
There was an intention to invite representatives from other sports. Karate was considered the most attractive: athletes will demonstrate the best examples of martial art, said the head of the Manzara project, Aidar Shaimardanov.
President of the Karate Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan Iskander Shagin noted that the idea of participating in the Manzara Award was immediately supported. The Federation always strives to popularize its sport and sport in general.
Masters of sports of the Russian Federation in karate, members of the main team of the Russian national team Daniil Danilov and Ilya Savin, as well as Kamilla Bikmullina and Liya Zavgarova will meet on the tatami.
Wrestlers of the national Koresh wrestling will perform in three leagues at the Manzara Prize: “Golden League” – professional athletes, holders of the Manzara belt, world champions; “Silver League” – professionals and amateurs from the Agryz region, “Green League” – young wrestlers under 30 years old. For the first time, winners will be awarded in ten categories.
